I guess it was because I read this thread and responded last night that I had a dream with Bo and Aniseed in it, as well as another rabbit that had reddish fur on its head. Go figure!

Talking with her mouth full of Auntie Ems! hehehe Ani looks a lot like my Blue with her face shape and face markings, except he's a lop and I bet he's a lot bigger! Also, Bo is just a doll. I love rex fur. My friend Cassie has a little mini rex named Angel...which I just sexed for her finally and found it to be a male. ;D

Hehe, I know! I love his little nose. And he doesn't mind if I touch his nose or mouth, so I go up to him and rub his cute little button nose with mine and he just sniffs me and nibbles. His son Ollie is the same way, only he licks me. He gives kisses like his mommy does. Here's my two other bunnies. Emmy, Ollie's mom. Ollie, Blue's son. (Haha, like his partially lopped ears? ;D) He can't hold his right one up. Also, here's the difference in their sizes. Blue is 8 lbs, Ollie is 6 lbs, and Emmy is 4 lbs. (That's Emmy and Blue.)

You've picked him up and held him on his back yet? They trance out, of course.

pinky - Thanks, me too! ;D Andrea - Haha, helicopter ears, I like it. Thanks for the compliments...I know, doesn't she? But that's before I open her cage...here's what she does when I open it. Although, when I take her out, everything's fine. She's a cuddle bug, she gives kisses, and she sits and holds well. And then she'll be very affectionate after I hold her and then put her in her cage. Tom - Why do you always push that on me? I've told you before, and I'll tell you again. Rabbits do not like that. Their feet are their only defense against predators, and they are prey animals. They get scared when they have no defense. This is why rabbits would rather not be held, but would prefer to sit beside you or hop around you. Although my rabbits will sit well for nail clippings, they DO NOT like to be on their backs, they DO NOT "trance out," and I would not ever "train" them to do that. I did once, however, have a rabbit that would "trance out," like you said, but I could tell she did not like it. She was just overweight and it was harder for her to turn back on her feet than it is for my fit bunnies. I do not wish to have any more subtle comments about that to me, though I do not mind you debating your opinion that it is okay to do that.

You've picked him up and held him on his back yet? They trance out, of course. Actually not all do. And you can train a bunny to 'trance' without putting them on their back, I was reading about a girl who does it by rubbing theirs noses gently. Jackpot is my only rabbit who does, Baby HATES bein on his back, but it's the only way I can get his nails clipped. I definetly have a soft spot for your Emmy, I love light coloured animals with dark eyes. Plus her pictures just so a real sweet bunny. Are your bunnies all bonded together? I am bonding Bo & Ani right now. We had our first 1 on 1 today without a cage between, it went very well. I can see Ani is going to be the dominant one. Bo pretty much just sat there doing nothing, while Ani checked him out and then sat on down next to him, right against him and started grooming herself LOL.... He did put his head down for her to groom him, she gave him a sniff and hopped away These are my first pet bunnies, and I am just so happy I decided to adopt buns, they are a great pet for me. well... could do without Baby's bad additude LOL...

I definetly have a soft spot for your Emmy, I love light coloured animals with dark eyes. Plus her pictures just so a real sweet bunny. Are your bunnies all bonded together? I know, I always strayed away from white bunnies because I wasn't fond of the red eyes, but then I saw her one day at Petco and had to have her! She's just the cutest thing ever, and has brought a lot of joy to my life, even with her spicy attitude, which I've come to love. No, in fact, none of them are altered. Was going to get Emmy altered when I just had her and no other bunnies - had the $300 needed to do it, too, but the parents wouldn't let me because they thought it was unnecessary. Well, it would definitely help her territorial punching and growling/squeaking while she's in the cage. She doesn't do it so much for me as she does other people, but she will run in the corner and squeak a bit. (She doesn't do it at all when she's out of the cage.) I usually just take her out of the cage for feeding because she gets aggressive. (I'm not afraid of being hurt as much as I'm annoyed when she "punches" the food bowl out of my hand and then all the pellets go all over and are wasted.) It's hard for me to ask other people to take care of her for a weekend or something too, because of her behavior. Not to mention I would have never had to deal with bunny babies a year ago. I mean, yeah, it was a great experience (and I don't know what I'd do without Ollie!), but it wasn't meant to happen, and what if things went wrong? I knew nothing about bunny babies then. Besides that, Emmy is over 4 years old now, and is at high risk for reproductive problems because of her age and the fact that she's been bred. So far she's healthy, but I still fear what might happen. But anyway. Blue and Ollie are VERY nice bunnies, and have never bitten anyone or shown any signs of aggression - except when they're with each other. Ollie is a bit more aggressive towards Blue. So having them together is out of the question also. On that note, Emmy is the complete opposite. She's not aggressive towards other bunnies - only humans. lol I used to have 4 female rabbits (including Emmy) that would all get along. None were altered, none were related. All different sizes, except for the two dwarf rabbits, which were about the same size. Interesting. Oh, and Emmy isn't completely white. She has about 6 spots of color on her. She has a black spot on the tip of her right ear, a black spot at the corner of her left eye, a thin line of brown on her right eyelid, a brown spot on the pink part of her nose, and a brown and a gray spot on the inside of her left ear. ;D You can easily see the black spot on her ear in three of the pictures.
