That was the ONLY time I saw them swimming in the many times I have been there. Usually they are acting like "rock potatoes" soaking up the sun, their black skin sometimes showing. I wish I caught them pushing off and twisting on the glass. They would use their paws to pivot, and with the paw pressed against the glass those things looked like the size of snowshoes. The grizzlies at the Bronx Zoo usually also sleep, but once I caught three of them in a pool devouring something edible. Their white claws were gigantic and highly intimidating. And here they are - looking like they are enjoying a jacuzzi! I don't think I ever got up there this time of year; it is so lovely in the Autumn I usually go then. I will have to get up there in 2-3 weeks.

That's a great photo - they all look so happy! I love the expression on the guy's face on the right. The one on the far left looks like he's smokin' a doobie

Doesn't the one on the far left look SO mellow?? You might almost want to hop in there with them. Almost. (Nine feet tall when standing; could stuff a basketball without jumping!). Should have seen those claws earlier when they were taking apart a fish together. Supposedly among the smartest animals on the planet other than primates.
