Just wanted to pass on the word, there is a new rescue in BC... We will be specializing in ferrets and rats, but we are suckers for all animals in need. Check out our website, it is still under construction, but all of our current adoptible kids are listed. www.littlemischiefrescue.orgPlease help spread the word.

>> Welcome to Little Mischief Rescue!
Little Mischief Rescue is a brandnew rescue, founded in November 2007. Although the rescue itself is new, the volunteers aren't new, we've all been involved in animal rescue for several years but finally decided to start our own group. We are 100% run by volunteers. The main chapter is in Vancouver, BC but we have volunteers throughout the province and as far as Washington, Oregon, California & Saskatchewan.
Little Mischief Rescue mainly focuses on rat and ferret rescue & welfare but we care about all homeless animals out there and will help out wherever we can. We do not have a shelter, all of our animals are housed in various foster homes.
Please be patient with us while we are in the process of starting this new rescue. The website will be soon completely up and running and we will also work on becoming a registered charity.
Please feel free to contact us anytime should you have any questions, suggestions or concerns.
I hold that the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man. -Mahatma Gandhi <<
Good luck!

Welcome to RR. Andrea is from that area. Would you ever ship rats to the US? My one friend loves rats, but he's in New Jersey. I probably know the answer, but I'm just curious.

islandnavygirl is a friend of mine. I think New Jersey is a bit far away, though if they are willing to pay the air fair I believe rats can shipped that way.

I know she is a friend of yours. Welcome to her, I think again. Rats going through customs. Problems? Keep in mind drug traffickers have been using various animals, including puppies. May they all rot in hell.
