Not hamsters this time (Though I still have 1 Syrian, 1 Chinese and 1 Russian lol) I have finally got some free time now, so I have decided to get some girlies Lisa Silver Fawn) and Maggie (Agouti Rex) I have always wanted a little rex! There 6 weeks old and a little shy, but that will soon chnage once there settled. Kain

Lovely. Looks like they are in the box from the breeder. I really can't find a good rat breeder, but I have not tried that hard as I am so busy. Welcome back indeed.

Yeah there still in the box, I took a pic then save messing them about while there settling in.
Though I couldnt resist a cuddle tonight, Lisa is very inquisitive, but Maggie was a little shy.

Wow, it must be LATE over there in the U.K.
I would like to see your habitat. And see Rasputin's comments on same and rats. I am trying to get as much info as possible for when I get two (females) regarding size and levels. I need to know about time outside, also.

I will get you a pic Tom when I clean my room abit, looks like a bomb has hit it at the moment lol.
Good progress this morning with Maggie, shes eating out my hand now, and responds to my voice when I walk in the room.
Lisa on the other hand I'm slightly concerned about, I don't think shes eating anything. She sits on the one shelf all day looking pretty scared. I have had her out, and shes fine out the cage, shes nosey and inquisitive.
I'm thinking shes just a little nervous of the new big cage.

I will get you a pic Tom when I clean my room abit, looks like a bomb has hit it at the moment lol. You mean it looks like my apartment all the time. I also will want to know if they disappear when out and hide, or if, in due time, they stay with you the human they bonded (hopefully) to. I also would like to know their proclivity to gnawing wires that are flat on the ground. Sorry for questions, but I need to know all I can if I am serious about considering rats sometime in the future. Right now, I expect to add some finches and a gecko. So, in the future!

This old thread was bumped by me for two reasons: so people know that kain is a real person, and to see those lovely rats!

Oh...well now I feel stupid. Someone could've said something. ;D You meant well. How heck, I just realized those two lovely rats likely have passed. Maybe kain will see this thread and tell us. We await his tarantula photos.
