Hey, Megs gave me her old habitats, and it looks like NP chewed a hole in the bottom of it. I figured I would post a few pictures and see if any of you brilliant people could tell me how to fix it! Inside Outside Another angle outside Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

NP is her pet, Napoleon Pear, for those interested.

You need to not just fix it, but fix it in a way that what is there will not be too appealing for further gnawing - no edges.
I would take epoxe glue and dab it over the outside. I would then take the top of a metal can, cut it to square size with wore cutters (if needed), and epoxe that flush in the corner. It would not have to be very big.
I have a Crittertrail Classic and a CT2 with sides repaired that way, and I repaired bins in similar manner with notable success.
I assume NP is OK?? She said he was recently.

Do you have a picture of it? I think I understand, but visuals are handy! I'm putting Darko in there, and he has only chewed on his cage when he was unhappy. Usually the toilet paper rolls, wood chews, and cardboard keep him occupied!
>>I assume NP is OK?? She said he was recently.<< Unfortunately, Megs doesn't have hamsters anymore. Hers all passed on, so she gave me her old equipment. She's now got a Budgie and is waiting for her Doberman puppy, so she will have her hands full soon.

NP must have passed recently! When we swapped Holiday e-cards I recall she said so. I will send her an e-mail. >> Do you have a picture of it? << That bin is long gone. I found newer even bigger bins. I am looking at an "Aero" 27 gallon bin with a ham in it. I can find the CC (mice in it now) and photo that. But I just sat down after a long day (see Animal Rescues forum) and am not getting up for awhile.

Is there any kind of epoxy that is safer to use? Or do any work?
