>>Sorry Robin, still no go<< DF said he was getting the "hang" of the sexing and he had already sexed a male... when a male is well endowed they say he is "well hung"... the joke was more along the lines of sexual innuendo, and don't worry because it wasn't that funny.
My family has always had weird cat names: Crash, Strut, Kinky (because her tail had been slammed in a door and made a Z pattern) Bowtie, Nitro...
If you can't think of names you could always name them numbers.

Ohhh...thanks dezzi, I get it now. And sorry if you felt uncomfortable writing that. And, lol, those are some funky names you came up with.

As for the kittens, two are sleeping on me; two are sleeping on my bed. They got the last of the anti-worm medication today, and one got antibiotic cream for his eye. The cat people - who have been very busy - may try again to trap the other kittens very soon. The kittens stay in the bedroom only.
That is the update.

May Stardust rest in peace.
The cat people try another trapping expedition tomorrow afternoon.

Last night both cat people came, Meredith and Carl: they came when the sun was still up but left long after dark.
I managed to secure access by talking to the super of the nearby building, and they ended up with two adult cats and one kitten Not great but not bad.
The adults get spayed/neutered--and have a bit of ear trimmed off so we know which have been "fixed". The kitten joins the others.
More efforts to follow.

How many more are out there that you know of?

At least ten adults and some youngsters from another litter. There is one sibling out there from this litter. That does not include the two adults just "fixed" at the Humane Society who are coming back to the above-mentioned secret Cat Room for recovery. No e-collars needed. I get the kitten within the hour. Lots of work to do; the cat people are considering a net, like they use to capture deer or gnus! Seriously. Maybe we could dart them like they do with rhinos! ;D

Several days ago the last of the litter of six was caught! I have them all up here with me as I endeavor to socialize them and stop them from being afraid. Only the last two are a problem. Patience, patience. Glad I no longer see them in the backyard playing; they can play here, in safety. Their mom is back outside being feral; she has been spayed and will have no more kittens. There surely will be other litters to deal with as there remain many adults back there we are trying to trap, spay/neuter, and release. One had a litter several months ago, but those are too old to be adopted out--feral.
