Err... too late to warn that this is like... super pic overload, but eh.
Last night I was bored and I started working on Charlie's bin. I got REALLY frustrated with the plastic top, so I ditched that and used the cardboard that came with the 20 gallon.
These next few pictures show the bin's progression. Please don't attack me for the cardboard, that's only temporary and in last night's mood I just wanted it DONE so I could be at peace.
These pictures are ALL in order of when I took them....
So uhm... the empty bin:
Added his old wheel (I know it's small, I'm buying a bigger one soon, I finally have realized he's grown out of it...)
His old tank next to the new thing *in progress*
So.... the finished thing (as I said, the card board is temporary)
Positioned on my dresser near Veggie's tank
From the other side after I put Hedwig's tank on my dresser, too
I took the hinged lid of Charlie's old tank and replaced the annoying, unhinged lid of Hedwig's tank
Nice and orderly... kind of ... and I found space for my booted clock on top of Charlie's wire cage!
Hamster junk in my room that I need to relocate (yes I will clean the tank first , and I plan on making the ball into a house [just getting rid of the lid/half burying the ball in bedding, I'm sure Hedwig would love it... since I heard that balls are bad for the hamsters])
THEN I took a break from that and tried to show you guys that Hedwig is indeed alive (I haven't been posting his pictures and such because he's always in his igloo OR my stupid camera dies)
err... he is alive in there, you just can't see him. Colorful though, huh? (I sterilized the Play-doh cans, don't worry)
Oh yeah... and I started on a new food that I found under my bed, unopened... they like it.
The whole set up from the other side:
Whenever I see my darling Bou shredding tissues for his nest, I am reminded that he really does have a heart. <3 XD
And then I am alerted by an amazing sight- Charlie has discovered the tube connecting his cages! Hurrah! No more worrying on my part that he'd die of thirst in the cage without a water bottle.
Gahh.... what to do with this 20 gallon tank in the middle of my bedroom floor? /rips hair out
I zoomed in on Bou's nest... yeah, I'm slick like that. 8)
Charlie has never climbed like this in his life! Ahh, the freedom!
So err... a lot of you saw my Charlie/Bou scare topic... this is as close as they're going to get from now on-
YES! Finally, I relocated all of the scarves and crap on this shelf and found a spot for Bou!
Lol... I was carrying Charlie around and had to go to the bathroom. He is sitting on the side of the bathtub in this picture, AS I AM ON THE TOILET. :uhoh:
I had never seen Veggie actually use his "house"... I think he only went inside of it to escape me.
"lemme out plz!"
Isn't he just gorgeous? <3 I am so proud of my Bou.
He hates me. -_- (on his ear you can see a red spot, I think that's his only battle scar from his war waged with Hedwig...)
I need to clean his wheel. O.o TONIGHT, I PROMIZZZ
My secret access.
At this point Charlie is adjusting well! (yeh I know the cage door is open)
LOL poor Charlie, what a degrading picture. XD
Can you spot the dwarf? Told ya he was alive.
He looks like an elephant... I think I scared Hedwig. D:
/end rodent overload
