My avatar, signature, and everything else is just fine. Maybe it's just you.

>> her sig isn't blank--it has words in it. << We were referring to IMAGES, not words. Yes, you were referring to an image in her sig. She was referring to an image in her avatar space. My point is that if in fact Katie knew you were talking about the space below her message, she'd say it wasn't blank, because it isn't. Notice that Katie never talks about having an image in her sig--what this means to me is that she never understood your original comment about having a picture of Luke in her sig. So, Katie: the photo of the rare dog is the avatar. I can see that; Tom can see that; you can see that. The word description of the rare dog, your quotes, etc. are in your signature. There is no image there. Tom WANTS you to put an image there. This doesn't mean that the rare dog stuff has to go away. It just means that you'd put a Luke image in the sig. But for that you'd have to put the image onto Photobucket or Picturetrail and get the URL for it, the same as if you wanted to post photos in messages. I had to post Luke's photos on Picturetrail in order to put them on RR. There! Does that clarify things?

Perfectly Robin, thank you. And to answer (finally) your question Tom, my siggy is fine how it is. I love Luke, but it's fine.

Another Luke adventure! My boyfriend and I were returning from an ice cream outing when who did we see walking nearby but Katie, her dad, and Luke! Another coincidental meeting! We parked the car and walked with them for a bit. Very nice. Luke is getting bigger and furrier! He walks nicely on a leash and responds to commands. Katie has him whistle-trained, and she is able to control his barking. Also, he lifts his leg like a "big dog" now. And he likes to run through puddles and then jump around and play! He gives kisses too. So that was a fun encounter!

So, he barks, not yaps? We still await more photos. Glad you had a great time. New Jersey must be a small place!

It was great to see both of you that day and to walk and talk together!! And yes, Luke barks; his bark seems bigger than he does. Oh Robin, I saw your boyfriend today coming back from work as Luke and I were heading out, his last walk for the day. He came to Luke and hugged him and Luke, in return, kissed him back. We still await more photos. ^I have been taking a few photos of Luke and plan to take some more. I have to see if I can get another video up of him this time. He was good with commands this morning, but laxed a bit later in the day, perhaps it was the heat. His training begins Aug. 10th, but I'm glad we were able to teach him a few things and he's a quick learner as Robin stated. New Jersey must be a small place! ^Not really, her boyfriend lives in the same complex as I do, so as I walk Luke, we tend to bump into each other. The complex is big and round-about, but I see the same people a lot because they're out at the same time.

>> He came to Luke and hugged him and Luke, in return, kissed him back << How'd he get down so low, or is he short?? ;D >> New Jersey must be a small place! ^Not really, << TWAJ. My cats don't need training - I tell them what to do and they do it: "Get off!". "Move!". "Knock it off!". "Outta my way!". And more affectionate ones.

>> He came to Luke and hugged him and Luke, in return, kissed him back << How'd he get down so low, or is he short?? ;D He is only 5'7", and he doesn't hesitate to get down to dog-face level, even when he's in work clothes. He just simply loves, loves, loves dogs!

5'7" isn't that short. I was thinking Munchkins. . .
Here is the question of the day, relating to previous discussions here. . . would he allow a dog to lick his ice cream cone?
- - - - -
Speaking of short, you might remember the bad guy in Die Hard II. He just showed up in Steven Seagal;s "hard to Kill" - he was only 5'8" and looked shorter to all the guys well over six feet. Camera angles helped in Die Hard II!

He asked if he could pick Luke up and I said yes. When he picked him up, Luke gave him kisses. Luke is a kisser, you put your hand down near him (or face, whichever you prefer) and Luke will kiss it.

You mean lick it??
Aren't you concerned about what he was licking before?? I thought that was a concern of yours.

Licking, kissing same thing in my book (for dog terminology anyway). I am concerned when it's something I'm eating and he goes for it, but other than that I'm not. I just wipe it off afterwards. He was good with his whistle commands yesterday!
Well time to get off and take him for a walk, later y'all! *waves*
