Pedi-Paws = Garbage... at least for my 70lbs Dogs nails, it may work better on smaller animals. Ry bought it for Whizz and the wheel would just die as soon as it hit her nail.
Are you having isses with nail trimming? Can you flip them on their back and get them to Trance? I do that with mine (the ones who trance) and it makes a world of difference. (Bo I need somone else to hold as i trim, as he doesn't not trance and is a littler bugger lol)

Hello, Andrea! *smiles to infinity* I would not try it on a dog's nails. The cats need to get used to the sound - they look really antsy about it when on!! lol The rescued rabbits, Asia and Becca, are none too happy about being on their back but I can manage. I also have GP nails. It is also works good on my big thick toe nail which has fungus! Eww. They get thick, and the things acts like a dreml tool thinning it. It only cost $10, so what does it matter?! later. . .

Hrm, I'm in Nail School right now and this thread made me wonder if an e-file would work... (an e-file is an electronic nail file that is used for artificial nails).

Multidremal tool, that is sorta what Pedi Paws is like, but battery operated and cheap LOL. My Dog didn't like the noise, though it wasn't 'that' loud.

I thought that was where you put your e-mail.

Cute, Tom. Cute!
Random question: Could you house a bun or two in a space that's 2.5ft by 3ft by 4ft?

So long as they get some "out" time.

How much out time and how many buns?

I am assuming that cage is 2.5' HIGH, and 4' long and 3' deep.
Rabbits come in different sizes, of course. Any more than two average sized ones in there and I might have concerns with it.
Out time. it depends on them in that some more diffident ones will just hide somewhere and never move, or go right back into the cage if it is left open. More confident ones might walk around a bit and groom themselves. The less they move about the more time out, I assume. If they move around exploring an hour seems good. Maybe Andrea knows better, but I think that makes sense.

I think that makes sense. I'm looking at a space for a bun or two... preferably two. Waiting to hear back from certain people before I know anything, though.

Let us know how it goes.
Remember, people often give rabbits too much carrots and too much pellet mix. Not too much!

The 2.5 worries me a bit, if that is the width, i think 3 would be better. Are we going 4 feet tall? As Tom already mentioned, the rabbits size is important. While my 2lbs Pitters would be fine in a cage like that my 8lbs Suzy & Spencer would need much more room. I've read 8 hours a day of outside playtime ... which i think is overegzagerated. Bunnies sleep A LOT, and are less crazy as they get older. They are also more active early mornings and late evenings. My Bunnies get from 4 to 12 hours of out of cage play time in rotation (so not every day). Suzy & Spencer being the youngest get the most, Bo & Ani second as they as the most active. Baby & Bubba get little as they don't explore/enjoy much unless it's cleaning day where all the bunnies (excluding Spencer & Suzy) mingle outside of the cages together in the free run area supervised. Kyoto & Pitters get free run time with Bo & Ani as I am bonding them, they don't play as much downtstairs, but unlike the other bunnies get upstairs freerun time (Since they are better behaved) that is where Pitters has the most fun and does 3ft binkies.
My 2 wood pens are 4x6, and the other cages are 3 wide, i think 4 in length and then 2 or 3 levels. They'd b a bit bigger as I am measureing NIC panells lol and I belive they are 'just' over a foot a pannel.

I thought we established 2.5 was the HEIGHT.
That is a lot of OUT time! The problem I would have with that is they would poop outside. But if I left the cage door open they would just go in (where the litter pan is)! So ends their "out" time! If I closed the cage door and let them just hang around until they got more used to it all, they would have no place to poop. If I left a pan outside the cage my cats would roll in it and the poop in it. . . and you can see my dilemma.
So I don't leave them out too long, and they walk around a little, More gradually week by week.
I believe your buns are outside in the open, on grass, hence pooping and peeing is less a concern, as is gnawing the furniture and things.
Advice is welcome. . .

aaahhh 2.5 high, missed that. 3x4 would be fine, just for the average 5lbs or less bunny. My Rabbits all live indoors. When the weather is nice we play outside, and i plan on building a large fully enclosed outdoor run for them this year if I can. This way there can be more outdoor time and unsupervised (since it will be enclosed). These are older pictrues of my setup, some has changed since. When I got Baby & Bubba (my first two) they live upstairs in the livingroom... what a disaster since Baby is not litter trained. I learned much from those two LOL I have found the more bunnies I have the more territorial poop marking I get. So in their free run area it's ok, but not on my 7 year old cream colours carpeets

They have more room than I do!! I posted, as I recall, photos of the rabbit condo I got with these two, Asia and Becca. Last June is when I adopted them, and that story should be easily found in this forum, if you are interested. The reason I got them was the operation and death of poor Poppy. That story is in March through May of last year, if you're interested. In fact my birthday in 2009 was one of the worst days I ever spent in my life.
