I'm officially getting the four boys, just waiting for schedules to let us connect so I can get them home. I'm super duper excited. I'm going get the ingredients for Suebee's and feed them that and a little bit of whatever else I'm eating that day. Does that work? Or is there something else that I'll need to add diet wise?

You were not too clear as to what else you are eating! >> and a little bit of whatever else I'm eating that day << That is not too precise.
What do you usually eat?? I always give mine a little greens: chicory, broccoli, etc. They love Ensure - vanilla only, and cool - but only occasionally as it has lots of sugar.
Anyway, congrats on the rats.

I eat whatever is in the house and so I didn't know if that would be enough for them or if they need specific foods.
EDIT: Just realized that's about the same level information-wise as my previous post. Oy.
Um, I tend to eat a lot of fast-to-make-but-not-from-a-box foods. Tuna melts, fried eggs, leftovers of what other people ate that day. We usually have some form of meat (mainly chicken or beef, not so much pork) a whole ton of veggies (stir fry is one of my fav dishes), some fruit. We often make pancakes for breakfast and then I eat the leftovers cold with peanut butter and jam for lunch.
There's usually always a supply of pasta noodles, bread, cereal (dry, as well as oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, Red River, etc) some sort of soup, and chips.
My guilty pleasure snacks are popcorn, nachos, and real fruit popsicles.
My plan is to do the Suebee's mix, find a good lab block, and then add on whatever I am eating. Is that going to be enough? How much of everything will four large male rats need?
