I posted Bo's miracle a while back, and now i have to post that he has another obstruction We're on a high fibre forece fed diet, lots of fluids (oral and Sub Q) in hopes we can get this to pass. He's living in my living room, is very alert, peeing ok, but very minimal to no poops. He will sometimes take treats and munch hay on his own, but again on and off and small amounts. He seems to be drinking well on his own, finished a small bowl of water and pedialite mix (mmmm grape flavor his favorite) this morning. I am force feeding critical care, with fresh pineapple and papaya mashed in. I gave him some fresh pineapple juice yesterday, and will again today. He's not taking the papaya tablets, so i hope the fresh will works just as well. I'm so stressed, as i am going through my own health issues at the same time as trying to help Bo. Please keep Bo in your thoughts, if I cannot get him better he may have to be put down I don't wana loose my bunny just yet

I'm so sorry about Bo, Andrea. Of course I will keep him in my thoughts and pray for him as well. I hope he feels better and I hope you feel better with your health issues.

I saw this last night and have kept him in my thoughts.
I know he could not be in better hands, both knowledgeable and loving.
Very best. Hugs to you both.

Things are looking up, he sleeps a lot, but it very alert and even hopping around some yesterday. He eats on his own, but minimal amounts, he is accepting treats now and yesterday he started pooping (and boy are they NASTY!), so things are moving through him

Whew. Glad of that. Are his poops normal? Rabbit poops I usually would not call nasty.

Soft poops I'm guessing?

icky, soft, un-formed, some huge, some small, some flung onto the wall LOL I let him play with his friends yesterday while i cleaned up his pen, he had fun in there. This morning though no poops again, though he is running around and exploring (found him on the couch this morning) so he is alert and happy, but again not eating much. I didn't force feed him last night, but I think we need to tonight.

So even abnormal poops are good - better than NO poops! Bo could not be in better hands.

he hopped onto the couch last night for a snuggle with me, i pet him, he groomed me LOL, bunny tongues are so cute. We're down to smaller poops again, but he is moving a lot more so that is good. I gave him a cookie yesterday turned around and it was gone... bad Dog! So had to give him a new cookie, he didn't eat the whole thing, but is slowly eating his veggies, still no pellets.
