I moved Bruce & Issabella down to the basement when the weather started heating up. Bruce had been living in a 20g long aquarium upstairs since he got sick and needed to be seperated. The tank did ok, but was honestly not big enough, so he got a lot of out of cage time, where he spent running around my entire house. Downstairs however he's not going to get run around time, free to come and go from his tank b/c the rabbits are there, and he likes to attack rabbits *sigh* I had to get a table with metal legs (metal can't b chewed from bunnies) to hold the 55g tank i have, so that Bruce could move into there. I got it all set up on the weekend. I am planning on moving Issabella out of the habitrail cage and into the 20g long. I think that will be a super fun space for a little hamster.
It's nice having all my animals in large cages/pens now that I have more room and less animals. The only animal upstairs now is PitStop when i am home, he hangs out with me. I re-arranged my whole livingroom/dining room area recently, and have a litter box hidden under a coffee table LOL... Pitters never pee's on the carpet, and he's more social with me then the other bunnies, so he get's more time upstairs then anyone else.

>>he likes to attack rabbits *sigh*<< I shouldn't smile but I did. Sounds good. I have to do some rearranging myself - some cages are no longer needed, as you know.

Yeah, not looking forward to going home and dealing with the cage issue... (will post explanation in Member's forum) It's always nice to give the ones we have that extra bit of space!

Bruce in his new digs, Issabella's ... Ghost Hamster LOL... She was having SO much fun in her new house, running all over every part digging liek crazy then in her wheel. She's obcessed with the wheel. Problem is she's SO fast and small and ALWAYS on the move I can't get a darn pic of her that isn't blurry LOL And during all the cage reconstruction, who was sleeping at my feet and nibbling my toes? LOL hehehe...

If you need a wheel for Bruce I know someone who was selling mesh 8 and 9 inch wheels for $3 and $5. Would that be big enough if she still has them? She's in Squamish but the BF could pick it up while he's climbing there and we could get it to ya.

I think that one is a 9 inch, He's need closer to a 12. Thanks though I will pester Ry to get started on making/fixing the one I already have. It came on a wood frame someone made, and well didn't last. I have 2 big ones but both are in the 4 Boys cages, they are younger and more of them so I'd feel bad taking it away. I think we would have fixed the other one sooner, but the last cage didn't fit a wheel that size

Make a temporary bucket wheel? Those are cool, although noisy.

Bucket wheel? LOL... he had a plastic one once, it lasted just over a day before they chewed it to nothing. He's been using this smaller one for a bit, he'll be ok for a little while longer.

The last photo is very cute and so is the story. So is "ghost hamster". So much stuff there that I have. Interesting how equipment and supplies are so similar from BC to NYC. What's a bucket wheel? >>She's in Squamish << As opposed to being squeamish.

Lol Squamish is the name of a town/city thingy between Vancouver and Whistler.
A bucket wheel is when you take a bucket, drill a hole through it, prop it up with a post and make your own wheel. There are pictures and how-to pages on Google.
