>>I watched the cutest thing this morning. I saw one of the baby girls carrying a piece of bedding back to the nest to show mom and dad. It was like she was saying: "Mom! Dad! Look what I found!"<< Nice! Once with some black gerbil brothers I could only tell them apart by the white pips on their paws. Then I could tell them apart by personalities.

Slowly the girls personalities are starting to show a little. Milly is starting to become the calmer of the two. She jumped right into my hand. I was able to lift her up. She played a little on my arms and in my hands. Did not once want to jump. She is going to be a very sweet little girl. She is going to be an excellent friend for my super active Becca.

Yes, they all have different personalities. Even among siblings. I was struck by that with my forst bunch.

Three weeks old now and having fun..... www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebqQIaEVmAgAll they do now is grow and learn. Ginger discovered the wheel yesterday. Two other pups might have took a small sip from the water bottle. So they are learning. They are also starting to eat some of their parents food. The soft stuff like the rolled oats. They love the oats. I have been sprinkling some in the tank for them.

That video is REALLY cute! Dry oats, uncooked, I assume. I should try that more.

I actually saw the two girls drink from the water bottle this morning. Daddy was drinking and the pups crowded around as if they were saying "Dad...I want a drink. I want a drink".

So funny how the youngster was kicked out of the jar! The jar is meant as a "toy"? For Frasier, the jar is his potty! Most entertaining! Thanks!

They all love doing their gerbil calisthenics in it. It is funny to watch. Clarice is goingto have her second and final litter soon. Father and son will have to go to their own tank soon. Babies are 4 weeks old this week.
