What is odd about the description above is it does not seem to mention actual floor space dimensions. See any? Better options?
See the Rabbit forum for why this is needed, needed to attach to the side of the bunny condo for the rabbits can come out more. Without it, even if I took them out, they would just want to go all the way back in. With it, they will become used to being out and safe.

According to this paragraph from the Details and Dimensions tab, there are 8 panels that are 24 inches wide. Arranged in a square, they would make a 4 x 4 foot space, so 16 square feet.
Stylish, portable, and well-built, the Midwest 24-inch Gold Dog Exercise Pen offers smaller-breed dogs or other pets both the comfort and security they need, and the freedom they deserve. This pen is built from 9 and 11 gauge wire with a 1.5 x 6-inch mesh and features a durable and long-lasting Acri-Lockā¢ acrylic coated gold zinc finish. The pen's eight panels, each measuring 24W x 24H inches, include a convenient door, can be arranged an octagon or square shape, and flatten and pack up easily for storage and portability. For extra security, the door features a double latch, and ground stakes and stabilizers are included. For added versatility, two pens can be hooked together to create a larger pen. This pen is easy to set up, with no tools required for assembly. Each panel in this eight panel set measures 24W x 24H inches.

They show it arranged in a circle. I suppose I can create a square? 4'x4'. Wonder if I could not use a panel or two and make it 3'x3'.

The pen is here. And the rabbits are getting used to it and now and then moving outside the two level cage and into the pen area. The only concern is making sure the cats stay out. I spotted one inside the cage itself on the second level lying down so comfortable! A short spritz of water, and "Get out!" gets the point across. They know some words, and those are two. Photos another time.

And here is a photo! At some point I will remove the pen and supervise them; they are more confident.

Well, the rabbits learned to jump OUT of the pen several weeks ago. I am getting a big cardboard top for it, although that is a bit moot as they manage pretty well out in the room. There are just some things I do not want them to chew on; they never have. . . electric cords! That is the only concern. So I monitor them. Maybe I will use the top more often. It'll be OK. Becca gets around faster than Asia; maybe she is more confident or smarter!

Bought a big hunk of cardboard for a pen top. Not sure if it will hold a cat's weight. Nothing much else I can reasonably do.
