They're always so cute. I always tell them to run when we see one that way Luke won't have to run after them. His instincts kick in with a rabbit, squirrel, bird, and definitely cat!!

Another reason to keep dogs leashed outside. Too many do not.

If Luke ever does go outside, I put a 2ft leash on him. Some people don't, it's their responsibility for their own pet. There's this one choc. lab that doesn't always listen and she'll run across the street to see Luke. One day, sadly, Belle may be hit and it'll be her owner's fault.

It happened many years ago to a local white Boxer. He survived. Some people seem responsible, usually, but are consistently negligent in some areas.
Rocky died suddenly of a heart attack in the elevator at age 7 1/2. It was quick. We all liked him. Whites are not a Show standard, but breeders tell me they are never "culled" any more.

I love white Boxers. I've only seen one at a kennel I used to work for; I like them cause you don't see them everyday. You usually see the normal colors, brindle is also a bit rare for their breed too, but like the white you do see it from time to time.
Sorry about Rocky.
