Still have to name them. So busy. Guys and gals. It would help if name suggestions were added here, if feasible.

I know I can look here on RR at some of your lists. ^If I remember correctly, I took those names off my lists. I didn't want anyone to copy them if they came on here just lurking. But if you want, I can pm you the lists I have of all my names combined.

I have picked out the names. They will do. I guess. Wendy, Holly, Micah, Lucas, Mable, Velma, Rufus, Foster, Stuart, etc. Not too odd, bit not too common.
More on that, hopefully, with photos, asap.

Those are nice names. Are you pronouncing Micah as My-kah or Mick-kah? And Mable from Robin's hamster? I knew someone with the last name of Foster in school; I had a crush on him.

MY kah. As in the Bible, the mineral. Or the marshal in "The Rifleman"! (Great TV series from the Sixties, on MeTV). Foster!

A-OK with me that there's more than one Mable out there, though maybe you want the traditional spelling, Mabel??
I like the names--nicely different.

Typo. Should be Mabel, although if you prefer the other. . .?

Go with the traditional, so they have unique names.
My policy: I never change the name of a critter I get from a rescue. Mable was the original spelling.
I was encouraged to change Frasier and Ethel to Fred and Ethel, but I loved the name Frasier too much, and I have my policy!
I actually often call Mable not May-bull but instead Mah-blay as though there was an accent mark on the e. She is not one to respond to her name, so I don't feel that consistency is needed!

>>My policy: I never change the name of a critter I get from a rescue. Mable was the original spelling.<< The ONLY change I ever made was Poppy the bunny. It was originally "Poopy". An old story you've heard. I try to never change names. That was the only example. Would you like YOUR name changed?!?

If it was stupid or odd, yes, I'd change the name. I always change names, I change them to what I like. If I don't like the name, it goes. And they're suited to a more better name.

When you change the name of one of the most famous race horses of all time, that is problematic for me.

You may remember the only name change ever made in the course of my adoptions, necessitated by my discovery that the male dwarf "Marcus" was a female when I visited "him." Thus I took home Mallory, a name proposed by the rescue owner's daughter and agreed to by all.

I remember. Poopy/Poppy stayed that even when I discovered those "tumors"were testicles! I used some androgynous names for awhile after that. My rats are very tame; should be with being handled since before their eyes opened. Belly kisses for the rats! Disconcerting is how they often en masse STARE at me, motionless, a few feet away. Sometimes I have to drape a newspaper over them, until they chew that up too. Will try and photo the rats, with names, soon.
