Challenge accepted, let's see if all those months of looking up dog breeds helps. I'll post here and on FB, will you be answering the question I (and others) have if we put the breed up to know what it is?
--The 2nd pic looks like an Irish Water Spaniel. --The Golden is gorgeous!! I love that color on them! --The Kuvasz (right?) is very pretty looking. --The Podengo is cute and they are a rare breed. Not a somewhat rare, they are rare. --You took a picture of a Chinese Crested Powerpuff as they're called when they have fur. They're by far cuter than the hairless in my opinion. --The pic before the Bedlington, is that a Lagotto Ramona? (sp) --The Bedlington always looks odd to me. --The Norwich is very cute!!
The rare puppy photo, do you have a picture of the adult? With any puppy it's hard to tell the breed, many people say this too.
Omg, I love Stabyhouns!!! They're so pretty and sweet; you're so lucky you saw one!!
The one shaggy dog, is he a Berger Picardy?
--One of your brown/white dogs is rare! He's a Kooikerhondje, I love this breed! If I could have one I would; they're sweet and cute and I love them!! You're so lucky you saw one! --Another shaggy, curly, gray dog you have looks like a Pumi, if so they're rare too. --I can't think of the breed's name although I can see the breed, so I have to come back to you on it. Some kind of hound.
--The fluffy tan/white cat is very pretty. What's the breed? Maine Coon or the New Forest? --The white cat and tiger looking cat are pretty too. Is the tiger one a Bengal and the white one with tan ears a Turkish Van?

Can't reply much now. Maybe tomorrow. Good job with the Staby! And the Kooiker! Feel free to post in the Comments of the album so we all know which dog you are referencing. Podengos are becoming less rare. There are rarer ones in this album; several of them. And you have not commented on them yet. REALLY rare! All FOUNDATION STOCK with the AKC; not even Miscellaneous. So keep looking. . . Cat breeds I will get to later. . .

I should have mentioned earlier that there were no Cotons at this year's Meet the Breeds; you saw them there last year. No Dandie Dimonts, Dogues de Bordeaux, Basenjis, Xolos, and some others I forget. However, on Animal Planet last Saturday night they showed "Too Cute", first with kittens growing up, and then with puppies: GSDs, Frenchies. . . and Cotons!!! Hope you saw them. "You will be surprised to learn they are the national dog of Madagascar", it said. No I won't! Noteworthy was that some of the breeds - Mastiffs and Neos especially - had serious flatulence issues. P.U. Smelly. Was told the Neos' "war dog instinct" would come out "if you took a swing at me". "And it is hard to stop". Wonder what dogs would not react aggressively if their owner was slugged. Thoughts? One of the dogs in the Meet the Breeds gallery had a bulge in his rear area and was fifteen. "Cancer". Nothing that could be done at that age, "but he had a good life". Bet you can pick him out - fur turning white. *sigh* Fifteen is quite a run for a dog. Looked over your comments on the album. Try to fill in as many as you can, the breeds. There are a few more very RARE ones to go. When you need hints, ask me. But good job on the ones so far.

Got to some at 7:30am in the morning, didn't answer them all yet as the brain is not working this early. Some rare breeds I know by heart like the Stabyhoun and Kooiker Dog. One day maybe without allergies I will have a Kooiker, but right now they're really rare outside their native Netherlands. Podengos maybe becoming less rare as you say, but still you don't see many people walking them and they aren't AKC registered making them rare. Besides there are some AKC dogs that are rare like the Icelandic Sheepdog or the Beauceron. No! I didn't see the Animal Planet Cotons growing up although I thought "they look familiar." AP has reruns, I'll look it up when it's on again. The English Bulldog is said to have gas too, plus they snore. Yes, I saw the old guy, 15 is good for a dog that size. Normally the quote is, "The bigger the dog, the shorter the lifespan." Kind of funny how I have to ask you hints and years ago you had to ask me what the breeds were. You're learning, nice.

I know my breeds from many shows.
NOTE: the rare ones I alluded to may NOT be in that gallery. Not sure. Very busy here this time of year. I posted a few small hints on your FB. If you have no idea I will give you the breed names maybe tomorrow AFTER you reply here. Those photos may not be in the batch I uploaded; there are hundreds more.

Try #150 and#151. . . for the Hovawart. You did not add a comment to that image. The Leonberger's head is quite different from the body, unlike this dog, and I think they are bigger than the dog in these two photos. I will get to cat breeds maybe tomorrow or Monday.

Hovawarts aren't that hairy or as big as a Leonburger is, so that's why I think it's a Leonburger. If the photo is a double, I don't comment on it. Maybe that's why I didn't on those photos.
Hope you're getting ready for the big storm coming!

I commented on the storm to you in PMs. It was kind of bad here, but friends in Staten Island were really messed up, and cared. I only lost a tree outside this apartment building that crushed a car.
We can discuss the Leonberger-Hovawart thing after the elections.
