In the northeast it can sneak up on us, but mid-90's are here, the worst heat wave in this area since the horrid 2010 Summer. If you see animals in hot cars, break the windows! Rabbits and guinea pigs are very heat sensitive. If the temps hit 85 degrees or more get them into an air conditioned room! I am moving my rabbits within a half hour. It will be a lot of work, but so be it. Do not let them get heat exhaustion which is often fatal. www.fundforanimals.org/rabbit/stories/excessive_heat.html
