As the wind whistles outside here I am with chilled digits and glad to see opening this thread did not bring bad news. That is good about Phoenix. Hoping for the best. . . I sent three Get Well e-cards - three as the Hallmark Preview button was all messed up: everytime I clicked it another card was sent! Maybe good vibes count for something. Salubrious wishes. Nothing much new with my horde, other than they amaze me they are so tame now. Tommy was eating a peanut in my hand yesterday, which was nice.

Take a look at this photo of Rainy. She is busy foraging and looks rather OK, although the moving about may be more fatiguing for her now (resulting in spontaneous brief naps) owing to her stiff leg (visible in photo) which causes some mobility problems. You can also see in this two day old photo where she was biten near the eye; I always have wondered if that had any connection to the leg. But otherwise she seems fine.

Have you tried checking with the vet? He could probably give you a better idea if it's just old age or an infection from the bite.

The bite was months ago, and it got treated with bacitracin. I was thinking it could have been so deep it effected the brain. (Probably a wacky idea, but just one I threw out). She just gorged on some scrambled eggs so it has not effected her appetite!
