These photos are courtesy of RR member furryflowers, and I have paraphrased her description of these lovely babies below: The all Black Baby is "May". Her coloring, although Black, is called "Homozygous Ebony"...Every hair is shiny Black...Homo-Eb´s are the most expensive animals I sell, they go for about $300 each.... but even at this price they sell like Hot Cakes usually. The Grey baby with the White patch on his Butt & White tail is a "Reverse Mosaic", he will stay this color, a regular Mosaic or "Silver Mosaic" gets lighter as they grow. The little fellow in the back of the Cage is a "Black Velvet", he will have an all Black topline & a White belly when he is done changing color.

Sooo cute! I actually had the pleasure of seeing live chinchilla babies as a friend of mine has a pair and well, they had babies! Two of them and both are doing well. They are a bit smaller than those ones in the pictures though... still pretty young I think. Very big heads and little bodies.

Thanks again to FF for the photos. An I am glad you can separate the Fruit Loops from the responsible people! ;D The idea of making coats out of them makes me want to punch anyone I saw wearing anything like that.

They are so cute, especially the last one! I've seen full grown Chinchillas, but never babies. What are their names?

i was suprized to! But i thought i would look at the other prices. Dwarfs were about $2 and syrians maybe $4. The ferrets where $15! Very cheap store.
Oh it also had dogs there. a pair of chiwawas(have no idea how to spell lol) was $50 But each was $30 A baby jack russel went for a clean $60
Very temting. But they all looked very heathy. Cause most places sell for less when they are old and not wanted there. If that pet store can aford bedding for the dogs and dust for the chins then they must sell a lot!
