This is hard for me to tell because we had to let Charlie go. We thought that he was a contributing factor to my breathing illness but there is so much more to the story. Charlie went to obedience class and we got thrown out...no kidding. No classes wanted to help us gain control over an out of control situation. Even when we took him to the vets they look at us like we were crazy. At home things were bad. He wouldnt listen to any training that we tried with him. He became possesive of our daughter and anytime he was being corrected he would lunge at us. When it was just me and Charlie alone at night( Im an insomniac) we had a great relationship. But when the world became alive so did his behaviors. Im very sad and I miss him. I hope his new family has better luck with him. On another note a lady that lives 2 doors down from us had birthed her doggies first litter of pups. She has two pure bred pit bulls and they happened to hook up and we were promises a pup once my health was improved. The pup pictured is Judas Blue. He is now 3 months old. He comes from a pure non fighting blood line and is so very adorable and loving. I'll post pics so everyone can watch him grow up. I will never let go of the awesome memories I have of Charlie. Sorry I havent been posting, but my health hasnt been that good. This morning at around 4am my little hamster Radar passed away. We took him to the vet a month ago because of 2 lumps on his back and a sore on his tummy that wouldnt heal. The doc gave antibiotics for him to take for 2 weeks. She said if the meds didnt help that clear up it might be cancer. He was diagnosed with a bacterial infection. He took his meds like a good boy for 2 weeks with no improvement, but he wasnt acting sick at all. The past few days he took a turn for the worst and we were discussing taking him to be put to sleep. But God took him in his sleep instead. RIP my handsome little Radar. I will miss u so much. P.S. The photo of Radar that I posted is of him sleeping a few months ago. He looks so cozy. Attachments:

I can relate to that Katie. When we had to put our old beagle Cody to sleep we did it at home. The vet wrapped Cody in a blanket and asked us to make sure our cat, Rhythm, said goodbye before taking him to get creamated. Sure enough Rhythm walked over to take one last look at his brother. He knew what was going on, plus our hesterical sobbing also let him know something was wrong. Animals are so smart and loving and deserve to say goodbye and make peace with their loved ones passing.

I want to thank everyone for all of the great ideas and suggestions that have been given to me. Each day things get a little easier with him. I am far from perfect, so the last demand I would make of him is to be perfect. Together we are working out our flaws , mine as an mom/master and him as a goofy little pup/ best friend. I will post more pics later on in the future and will update on his behavior. I love my family here at RR!

At the moment we don't have the extra money for classes. The classes that he is attending was included in the price of the adoption. The obedience classes were supposed to teach basic comands which he knows well already like sit, stay and lay down. Our problems consist of him jumping up on people when they come through the door, not knowing when playtime is over, begging for food...things like that. The poor little guy seemed to have no structure in his life before us. The classes seem to focus more on how your dog gets along with other dogs. Charlie was adopted out of a holding pen with two other dogs in it, so thats not even really a concern for us. The more time we spend at the Humane Society doing volunteer work, the more we find out just how much bs goes on there. Humane....yeah right!!! It is all about the almighty buck. Long stories, but if you care to know I will take the time to post them. That training web site has been a help on teaching us some patience with Charlie.

Charlie is 11 months old and he is currently taking classes for his behavior. Generally he is a good boy but we think that his past owner messed up his mind. We imagine him being put in a crate for extended periods of time because of his overactive behavior. The shelter even suspected that he was given Xanax before being surrendered to them. His barking has settled down with no help from the vibrating collar, he got used to the feeling and he wasn't phased by it so it was a hugh waste of time and money. Our biggest issue with him is that he has no attention span and is always looking for something to get into. We'll see how his classes work out, but no matter what he's our new baby and we love him. I will update as soon as something new comes up with him. Welcome back Katie!!!

Eeewwwwwww!!!!!!!!!! They were raping corpses. The human race is so screwed up morally. I think animals are the smarter species. That is just plain horrible. They must have something against warm, soft bodies to have sexual encounters with. And shame on the workers at the morgue. I would hate to see what karma is coming their way!!!

So sick on soooo many levels. Oviously they wanted male on male sex. Did they ever concider doing each other rather than getting a poor innocent animal involved? I'm sitting here looking at the computer screen stunned.! I used to work with a woman that admitted having sex with her dog. When she would get out of the shower she would let her dog lick the water off of her .....well, you know. The nasty people need to leave the animals and children alone! There are unlimited resources to get what you want. Weirdo sickos!!!
