I've seen that link a few times at the top. Maybe they think you're Arabian?

Cool. Stevencc--you know how with some license plates here having a dolphin or dog on it and it's really colorful to save whatever it is. Do you guys over there do the same thing?

People here get UK plates sent over so they can put them on their cars, a fashion statement I suppose.

And to think I thought that they were from England and just brought their car on over.

It's not really legal, but they run them on their front plate, which does not have an insurance sticker. You can do this in Alberta legally (or at least less illegal then here) because they are not required to run a front plate and only a rear. So if someone in BC is running a plate on the front that does not match the rear or is not registered to the vehicle then you can get in trouble from the police and insurance agency.

So Alberta and BC have different laws! What about Manitoba? ;D Yup. We have Federal, Provincial, and Municipal laws that fall under the respective levels of government. Territories are different, but I don't remember exactly how. I think it has something to do with funding...

Waving down the highway to Andrea!! I thought here you can technically get away with no front plate. Never really thought of whether one can use an *actual* plate from elsewhere. Main thing is to have the proper plate on the back....if someone's "fleeing the scene" you want to be able to grab their number (assuming it's their car! *lol*)

In the US, some states have plates front and back, and some do not.
It is surprising how many versions of each state's plates there are now.

New Jersey requires front and back plates; Pennsylvania requires just one. Some states also require a sticker on the plate. Confusing.
Did anyone hear about what happened in South Carolina--some woman's kids or grandkids pointed to her license plate and "enlightened" her--and then she pushed to get all similar plates recalled and replaced.
What did hers say?
WTF-000 (numbers irrelevant. . .)
