For those in the UK all Supreme pet foods [Gerri Gerbil etc] are widely available in pet shops and supermarkets In fact, I don't know of any other small animal foods!

You can also get Supreme Petfoods at Petco...although of course when i needed to buy rabbit food...they were sold out...i even had my coupons....had to get Kaytee Supreme...pellets are the smallest part of her diet though, just the opposite of the hamsters.

I've seen Harry Hamster at Petco in Manhattan, but not Gerry Gerbil (at least not yet).

Petco in Manhattan, huh? The local pet store (not PD) told me there is one in "Chinatown" (likely Union Square, 860 Bdwy) with fancy rats I wanted to check out, just in case I ever decide to go that way. That is the only Petco anywhere near me, and even that is seven miles or so. That same local store now has the gorgeous young macaw that was born there three months ago out side hoping around. $1500! Already sold. . . to a lady whose original macaw died of old age. This one will outlive her - and both of us, unless you plan to be centegenarian. I'll take a photo of it (if still there) in a few days: mostly red, with some blue and green. You can look it in the eye and just tell it is smart and very aware. The local PD sold or transfered its last chinchilla. Just as well; the store and cage was too small. Considering the cost, over a hundred bucks, they didn't sell that well anyway, and now there is more elbow room for the buns. (Someone on the floor of this apartment house has a chinchy).
