He seems normal.
Have to give regular meds.
Am asking on rabbit forums for diets that might be helpful; it is all in that thread, which includes photos, before and after. This would take me more time to post them here than it would for people to register and go there and see them. So I won't; not fair.

Somehow I associated "melanoma" with the sun. (?) Absolutely. Melanoma is the deadliest form of skin cancer, and it is UV-induced.

Well then how does he get it on his scrotum?!? Especially when he never goes outdoors anyway. That was my point.
And skin cancer, I do not believe, forms an ever-growing "tumor" on the affected spot. The photos on that link show how big it was, and what it looks like post-op.

On that rabbit site link in that cited thread, I just found this: >> www.melanomacenter.org/prevention/index.htmlthis is for humans, but some melanomas are genetic or hereditary or "just occurs" and cannot be prevented << So it is not always sun-related, I guess. *shrugs* That thread sure proved didactic to all!

Very important link. Please read. RIGHT HEREFighting angiogenesis is a major factor in fighting cancer in all life. Green tea can help. - - - - - - - - - I kept posting the photo of Poppy's operation on that rabbit forum (link in this thread), but it kept vanishing. The dim-wits at the host site,. Webshots, apparently thought it some form of porno and took it off sending me a warning letter. Contemptible cretins. I will post it from another host site.

Just reading through this info linked from the memorial thread.
I just wanted to chime in, in case I missed it...Ensure is *not* a dairy product.

Poppy died on May 7th. See Memorial forum. I don't really care what Ensure is, but the rats love it.
