Problematic? Oh get real, it was only a glass animal. Besides he never made it to the real races that matter like the Derby, Preakness, and Belmont.
Robin--in case you're wondering what we're talking about, I have a glass animal that was already called Seabiscuit, but I don't like that name anyway for any horse. So I changed it.

Problematic for US; not for you. Although changing REAL animals' names is more serious, of course.

Problematic for US ^I'm sorry, in what way? It's only a glass animal.
Although changing REAL animals' names is more serious, of course. ^Not really. People do it all the time; I watch Houston SPCA and when an animal comes into their lives and they don't like the name, the family will change it. I changed Chewie's name and like most animals, they get used to it after you keep on calling them by their new name.
There was an older Beagle at Best Friends and her name was Bright Eyes, then for some reason her name was Ruby. So we began calling her Ruby Bright Eyes so she could get used to the name change. She's bright and she got it. Not a problem at all.

I will need to take photos of the rats with their assigned names. Soon. Got a good bite from a rat last night; needed band-aids. My fault for stupidly reaching in at feeding time.

Will try to get to the names, with photos, this coming week. Glad none of them are all white!

They've been named; coming. Not sure if I can get a .jpg link on Photobucket. I might have to move some stuff from the Picturetrail (pay) account to make room and put them there - I can get .jpg links on Picturetrail for sure. If not, enough gallery link!

Before the names, I handled some female rats yesterday. Not only are they a lot smaller, their fur is much softer! Very nice.
