House really belongs in prison for a number of things! ;D
Yes, I remember "Emergency!". But I better remember "Third Watch"; neither was really a medical show.
I long after it went off the air I saw as reruns "Ben Casey" and it was very impressive. One of the best pieces of acting ever was George C.Scott playing a hot shot disliked doctor who started almost making mistakes; this was looked into and the plot developed into him being a drug addict! But, it became very sad with much pathos as he was over prescribing himself as he had a painful fatal disease. Everyone thought differently of him then. His death scene was sp well done. Scott went from arrogant to humble.
"Marcus Welby". Explain why I just thought of "WKRP in Cincinnati", and "Hello Dolly". That's a toughie!

James Brolin co-starred in "Marcus Welby" (I also just thought of "Father Knows Best"--explain why). He married Streisand after his amiable separation from previous wife, Jan Smithers, whom he had a daughter with. "WKRP" was one of my favorite comedies, the last I ever watched regularly-smart and with no smut and with great characters who actually developed as the series progressed. www.clothmonkey.com/smithers.htmShe had many fans! Wonder if she would find it intriguing that she wound up in a thread about a vole. ;D On the show she was "Mary Ann" to the "Ginger" character--played by Loni Anderson. And the latter never wins among guys. So there you go!

She is anything but a celebrity being retired. Streisand, blecch. And she was in "Hello Dolly" despite being WAY too young, and despite that it should have been Carol Channing's role.

I don't keep up with celebs either, dezzi, but I know some things just by virtue of living in the same long-ago decades as DF. ;D
