Sandy (lighter color) and her mom, Trixie, were found dead on March 7th. Perhaps a shared illness kiled them. Pearl was a beautiful siamese gerbil. Found dead 3/22/06. I can remember as though it was a moment ago the time she was a pup and I introduced her to Penny and Pearl hid and jumped around until they settled in. pearl's friend, Polly, is still awaiting a friend she likes; she rejected little Marge who is now with Doreen. Tina died 4/6/06. She "replaced" Chrissie and was with the beloved Crystal until Crystal died, then she stayed with Doreen who is in with little Marge. Shockingly, Jennifer was found dead 4/11/06. She came from a pet store just last Sept. 1st, 7 1/2 months ago. I rescued her as she was pregnant and the place overcrowded. She gave he two gorgeous boys, leslie and Sam, lovely brown and white Abbysinian. Jennifer could not have been old, but I just found her soft and lifeless. Very distressing for me. Rest in peace, all of you. And thanks.

AWww.. I'm so sorry for your losses. We all know how hard it is with small animals.. our time with them is all too short. RIP, all of them.

Thanks.
Now look up the word EPHEMERAL, because that, sadly is what they are.

BTW, the latest batch of fancy mice had a litter - expected. They are just getting fur and sticking their heads out. I think they were born around April 1st. Another 10 days to sex them! Remind me.
