Sounds good! Could you give us a link to a sample pet virtual memoral as an example of what you mean?
I have in my Memorial Photo Gallery in my signature below many pets buried in five graves in a human cemetery, each grave very close to the other. Any sugestions on how to handle a grave(s) with multiple pets?
I am making an announcement in the News Fader near the top of the main page about this.

I would add each pet individually and leave a bio on them since they were individuals with their own personalities and mention in each of their interments that they are buried alongside companions. As an added feature you could mention each of the others and link their names so they would become clickable links making it easy fo any one wanting to navigate to the other pets involved.

I just went through the datgabase at Find A Grave. It appears that each animal will need to have a secondary name such as a surname. I have several pets with 2 names such as Mr.Dave,Pudgy Perkins, and also alot of them that I would have a second name I would call them such as "Stinker",etc. In the cases where there is no other name I would use the family name or a nickname for the secondary listing. For those who do not know exact dates an approximate would be alright as long as you can live with the date being posted.Photo submissions are fine.In cases of no definite place of burial you can add something such as Brewster's Home,Family field, etc. If the animal was cremated at a Veterinarians Place you can still add that as an alternative burial, etc. Since its kind of hard to find an animal with just one name I will have my wife get some information on our pets and make a virtual gravesite for one of them-then I will post the link to it in here so everyone can take a look at it.Seeing is believing-I know it will be helpful to be able to show something already exsisting.

Thanks for the info. I can always give one MY last name for a second name; they were part of the family, anyway. Bafk later. . .

As promised here is the link for my gravesite that I just posted at the Find-A-Grave site. This should give everyone a general idea of what I am trying to explain. I will post the link to each interment after it is done on the forum here so people can go there to visit and leave flowers unless someone asks me not to or of course decides to join the site there and post the information their own selves.Well, here is the link: www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=18088936

That is so nice I will later e-mail all members about this. But not now. I hope (AND ENCOURAGE) all members to click on that link as it is a lovely memorial. Sorry about Mr Dave. What about your others, such as the mule? I'll get back to you. P.S. How does one find pet cemeteries exclusively on findagrave?

I will get to your links a bit later, but right now I need to tell you that I have been informed that people cannot see your virtual site unless they register. True?
If so, I hope they do. Findagrave.com is a great site.
Thanks.
back later. . .

I didnt think you had to register in order to see the links. However they can do a non famous search and type in the name David Solomon Lestz and it will probably take them to the site. Note:Anyone wanting to inter a pet would want to register so they could add more pets, etc. I got an email from someone today who visited my site and left flowers.Don't think they registered though as you dont have to be a member to leave flowers and comments.I recall visiting sites before I registered and didnt have any problems at all.

I found out that you must join in order to post condolences or to post gravesites. That is about like any other forum. You can come in here and look all you want but no forum privelages unless you become a member. You are free to roam the site there as much as you want without becoming a member which means you can visit any gravesite.

So clicking on your link SHOULD bring it up even for a non-member.
I asked the person having problems to post in this thread last night. I await her comments. (?) She would love the dog memorial.

I'm sure it's lovely, but nothing is coming up on my screen, sorry. It doesn't say "register" so-to-speak, but I'm not seeing what you're describing at all.
