I just rechecked the link and it is still live. My wife as well as Tom and myself seem to be able to click on the link and are seeing what is posted there. My brother over in England can also go to the interment or at least his email message to me indicated that. www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=18088936

Kate, I think clearly the problem is at your end. Better ask Josh.

I got that one that you just posted, moshev. The others were drawing blanks. It's very nice.

Good. If anyone has a deceased pet that they would like an online virtual memorial for, just see this thread! I will likely do it for Princess the hamster and Leslie the guinea pig as soon as I have time. I'm finishing the Dog Show gallery at the moment. Of course I have lost many more - see the Memorial Gallery below in my signature, which, sadly, needs a lot of updating.

I sure hope this will give some of the members a real alternative to just browsing through a photo album of having a photo in a frame of their beloved pet. I would like to know of anyone who has interred their pet at Find A Grave so I can stop by and leave them some flowers.

I doubt if anyone has, yet. If truth be told, most people have some aversion to anything with the name "graves" or "cemeteries" in it. Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn is a National Landmark, and one of the most beautiful places anywhere: botanic garden, outdoor art museum, park, nature sanctuary for birds, plus it is rife with history and fascinating anecdotes. Same can be said of many great cemeteries, such as the much smaller Mt Auburn of Boston. Yet a lot of people won't even consider visiting. Although more and more do; we had hundreds for our Halloween tours last October - at $20 a shot. I am going to e-mail all members about this virtual memorial soon - later tonight. Regards to the rats. Today I got a rat wheel for my girls; the guys have one already. I also got a 25 pound bag of Sun Seed rat food at Vinny's pet store. They also like tortillas shells covered in warm Ranch dressing.

I just PM'd and e-mailed all RR members about this virtual memorial. That's the best I can do.
