I adopted you because I knew you were older and may have had a little time left with us, 2 days was not what I had thought. You left us soon, but left us as part of our family. And am now buried with the rest of of beloved little critters.
I'm sorry you left so soon, but and glad i could help you leave safely with no pain and still your dignity.
Rest in peace Gwen.

I wish I could remember who and what Gwen was. But condolences anyway. I lost my iguana a few days ago. I will post a thread on that.

Gwen was the last of Andrea's three white foster dwarfs. She adopted her after the second one died--just days ago.
She died loved and well cared for. She was most fortunate.
RIP little Gwen.
And hugs to you, Andrea.

Thanks everyone. Yes Gwen was the last of my white dwarf hybrids, and the one I adopted on the 19th. On the 21st her abdomen was larger then a ping-pong ball and she had blood/feces clumped to her little bum and her breathing was quit fast and short It was so sad. I gave her yummy treats (like peeled sunflower seeds) before our trip to the vet, and cleaned her little bum as well as I could. So she left with a full belly, and her dignity. I buried her Sunday.

I kind of thought she was the dwarf.
Sorry again.
Dignity. . . a concept we all value for our rescues. In that vein, I will soon post the story of Skeletor in Other Pets. Please look for it.
