Sunday Night I had Ani, Bo & Whizz watching TV with me. Bo is a snuggle bug and loves to sit on the couch with me so there's a few photos of that, and of course every photo with Bo will have Whizz in it because she LOVE him, this dog absoulty loves that bunny, she grooms him and everything, it's so strange. Oh and Aniseed & Bo are molting like CRAZY, so they don't exactally look their best. "Aw Mom! How come he get's to sleep on the couch and I don't?" Bo Chillen.... well more like molting Bo sitting on mommy's lap, and Whizz thinking "I wish I could be a bunny" Surprise Kiss The two love birds goofing around Naughty Bo stealing the bag of apple nuggets! Dance Time "Don't like my dance?" fine then, no dances for you. Nap Time. And the Video.... (I'm still trying to figure out WHAT i was watching on TV LOL) www.ultimateuploads.com/video/view.php?video=57e6a1b89f8a3bba73ea43f9c0d158a1

How shocking! An interspecies relationship! ;D
(It must be pretty serious if you describe them as lovebirds!)

Everyone looks SO relaxed! How is Whizz's health these days? Thanks Whizz is doing very well thanks. Her ouchy hips lasted 3 days and then she was back to her old self again. Sure had me worried all that time though. I had a friend over a couple days ago and we took Whizzy for a quick walk after dinner, and then played in the backyard, I showed her how well whizz does at agility (umm, we need to practice again lol) and she mentioned she thought Whiz was 3 maybe 4 years old. We get that allot, not many people believe she's a Sr. pet.

Great.
A friend has a chocolate lab with kidney stones. Vet says expensive operation. Can it be broken up with ultra sound and passed in small pieces, as people do?? Any opinions you or a vet might have on this?

I don't have any experiacne with Kidney stone, I wasn't aware they could break them up even for people? The only way I know of removing stones like these ones is through an operation. I would definetly put the dog on a prescription diet for kidney stones, that at least would help make it stop growing, or others from forming till they are able to remove it.
Poop Pup, i wish them luck with him!

Ultra sound is rather standard for people; it shatters the stones while inside. I will ask the guy about diet issues. He actually started crying a little talking about his dog today, "my best friend".

aaaww, that's so sad. The first time I ever saw my Dad cry when I was a kid was when he picked me up from the bus after school, I hoped in the truck looked at him and said "you put Tattoo down today?", and he said to me "you are a very smart girl" and started to cry. I didn't know till that day, that he too loved that old dog. Pets are kids too, and seeing them hurt or sad, breaks our hearts, ever the most "manley man' types. My Honey can't take seeing any of our/my pets hurt, he get's really upset and I have to be the strong one.

That is exactly why my friend Susan, the rescue lady who is very knowledgeable and smart, did not become a vet.
