Very nice gerbils. I like how you have Robin's sn as a name for your gerbil (pinky). Their names suit them. My cousin wanted to name her dog, Vanilla. But my Aunt said it sounded stupid (she of course did not say this to her daughter), so they named him Monty.

He was called Pinky as when I first got him the area around his right eye was pinkish. A disease? it was no problem, and the pinkiness went away quickly. (?)

Could it be pink eye? You know how humans get them.

Nice bunch. I think Erica and Mitzie are especially pretty.

Most people would not have chosen two black gerbs.

How do I know if it was pink eye?? It went away on its own months ago. In fact almost a year ago.

And where does it say there gerbils can get it??
I have more than enough problems without worrying about a condition that disappeared a year ago! lol

Okay, whatever. I'm just like that, trying to figure things out. Yesterday I see a dog and tried to figure out if he was a Wire-haired Pointer or a Wire-haired Griffon. I thought it over till I got it, it was the second. But that's me, I like figuring out something till I get it or if I can't get it I'll come back to it later or never.

As for pink eye in gerbils...I don't know. But I do know both humans and animals can get it. I THINK it's transferable. Since it's SO contagious, you'd want to be extremely thorough about washing hands etc and not touching anything that someone else might touch...including a pet.
Interesting question
