Nice Cage. I hear you my boyfriend had built one for my bunbuns, well the larger of the two could hop out, she weighs about 5 pounds (2.6 kgs +/-), and streches to a foot and a half, she could hop out, boy she would get me mad. Recently I spent 250 dollars on a new cage, it's heavy and big, can be used indoors(late fall, winter, and early spring) or outdoors (mainly summer). Cognac

yes she is a lucky one. Unfortunately i may have to find a new home for Astrid since my roommate is not all too happy about her being here. I'm trying to convince him though...hehe. In the meantime i have put the message out for prescreening homes. I'm not rushing it though, as i will not adopt her out before she is spayed.

Aww, I'm so happy for her Why does your room mate have a problem with her? I don't understand how anyone could not like her, rabbits aren't exactly stinky or very noisy

Hmm.. I really don't think that's a lot, even if I wasn't animal mad. Well, at least you've gotten her away from her previous owners who obviously didn't care, and if you can't keep her then you can find a nice loving home for her. I think it's a great thing that you've done, I don't know if I would have had the guts to ask the previous owners.
