well an rabbit rescue friend of mine has a 3month old boy bunny that is looking for a home. I'm bringing Astrid over tomorrow to meet him. He could be a possible boyfriend for her!. I'm very excited about this working out, although bunnies are finicky so we'll have to wait and see. I'll definately try to take pictures. Look for an update tomorrow~!

A friend is always nice, but won't they breed? Or maybe she was already spayed. . . I forget. We await photos. I need to take new ones of Poppy.

As I recall, she is spayed.
Dosergirl, I hope they get along! That would be fun for Astrid, and they could entertain each other.

Well it was love at first sight ( fighting here on home turf but there was snuggling at first) Astrid is very territorial and dominant so it will take some time and patience to get them symbiotic. Here are some pics of their first date...he doesn't yet have a name... homepage.mac.com/dosergirl/PhotoAlbum64.html

Oh, what a lovely first date! That is so nice that they have found each other. Those pictures are just too sweet. I'm sure this relationship will last a lot longer than most human ones Any ideas yet for names?

Aw, he really is very handsome. He looks like a Sphynx!
I love those pictures - great shots! And they do seem to really like each other.

Yes they do adore each other on neutral territory which is where their Dates are. For about an hour i will sit with them in the bath tub (the only place in the house that's neutral to Astrid) and they can snuggle and love. There really is nothing cuter than two snuggling buns. We're still fighting over dominance and territory in the rest of the house but i'm sure everything will be fine in a little while. Jack really just adores Astrid.

Calling them dates is so sweet - I love it! Eventually he will charm her enough to let him in fully. He is so handsome - who could turn him down?

Really lovely photos. His fur reminds me of that of a chincilla in color. I love it when they stretch out and lounge - but the ears are still sticking straight up like little audio periscopes. They are so amenable to be petted at that time. Being spayed, is he going to even want to mate with her? I assume scents will differ. (?). In an ideal world Poppy would have a friend (other than me), but her current life of luxury sure beats the uncleaned 20 gallon tank she was crammed in, and days went by before they cleaned the poop. They make a great pair -- and Jack is a fine name.
