So This morning Ryan (my honey) asked me if we can call her Aniseed, and Ani for short. lol.. I told him if we make cute names for her, does that mean we're keeping her! LOL Here's the sweet girl saying "I love Auntie Em's Bunny Treats!" Maxin & Relaxin And doing what we do best in this house, Watching "gerbil TV" She's really starting to fit in around here LOL.... She's not litter trained, but she sure is affectionet and sweet. It seems she's still a bit greasy on top, but I've been brushing her so hopfully that may help a bit. She was so good about the bath, even being blow dried with the hair drier, and she sits so nice for me to brush her. She also LOVES toys! I can hear her tossing around the toys as i sit here LOL... to cute.

I give them baby toys to play with gallery.hot4x4.ca/albums/album410/aao.sized.jpgHere you can see the baby toy and a plastic pale, both are bunny toys. On the right you can see one of the "bunny toys".. they LOVE those rings. gallery.hot4x4.ca/albums/album433/aaz.sized.jpgI also have a silly looking cat scratching toy the buns play with, they love sheets to dig in and boxes and paper to chew. My boys LOVE shredding paper, so i give them an old magazine once and a while. Ya, she's all stretched out in the spare room right now.... You'd have thought she's always lived here LOL

Thanks. I'll have to make a list of those toys.
Poppy, mine, rarely stretches out on his side with the legs out to the side. Yours is very trusting.

really? My boys do the whole fully streched out looking like a frog in the living room, it's so cute. This little girl streches out too, but she also bumps me with her head so i will "groom" her. I'm still new to bunnies, but my boys don't do that!
I had her running around the living room while the boys were in their house, well once they saw her they were super excited, so back into the spare room she went.

"Gerbil TV"! How cute is that!
You folks that do rescues are always taking a chance--you can't possibly know what the animal will be like when you take it in. But it seems that you've acquired many that have become very precious to you, and it looks like Ani is going to be one of those. . . . from what you say she's definitely getting under your skin, Andrea!

I guess my Poppy is naturally more nervous. Maybe it's just not comfy for him? Just like people, Bunny are ALL different Pinky, you are right. When i adopted Baby & Jackpot the only thing I new about them was one was a lop, one was fuzzy, they were neutered boys and Jack was a SARS BC Baby (resuce i volunteer for). Jack was actually taken from a stoned man who had the babies in a fish tank with no bedding Jack and his brothers & sisters didn't know how to hop, as they never knew what traction was, they just slid around Some days i want to trade baby in he can be a real PITB!

>> Bunny are ALL different <<
Yea. And so are gerbs, hams, GPs, etc. All have their own personalities.
