Hi everyone, thought i'd update you with my crazy weekend.
Well let's start with Saturday night. We had my best friend viseting (he lives 4 hours away now), and while him & Ryan (my other half... notice i didn't say better LOL.. ) were sitting in the living room, and i went to grab something Ani decided to leap off the couch, to the top of the X-Pen and INTO the top half of the boys hutch!
Ryan stopped Jack from getting to her But Baby decided to "have his way" with Ani LOL...
She also slept the rest of the evening beside their cage LOL
Sunday late morning after I put the buns food down, i fed Ani and went back to the boys and found Jackpot hadn't moved.
I knew right then something was up, he ALWAYS gobbles down his food as fast as he can.
I offered him his favorite treat and he refused.
I ended up asking my bunny ladies for help, and I massaged and vibrated his belly, placed a heating pad on it, gave him homeopathic drops for his tummy, force fed him mashed up pellets with apple/pineapple sause and water.
I did that all night and first thing in the morning I was on the phone to the Vet to get him in.
Again, I force fed him, gave him drops and made him play in the livingroom.
And as soon as my bunny expert friend (head of the rabbits @ the resuce) called me I saw Jacks First Poop!
WOO HOO
He did poop again, and then munched on a bit of grass. I was So happy.
Before we went to the Vet I saw Porsche one of my gerbils was very ill, so I brought her along too. (post in gerbil section)
At the Vet is was confired Jack was fine , everything I did the night before worked and his tummy was happy again.
So for the a$$hat who told me I was killing my rabbit on PH I'd like to rub it in that I cured my bunny on my own! SO NEENER NEENER!
ya i was a bit ticked about that....
Anyways, The Vet only charged me for one animal, and Jacks ok so thigns are looking up. SO lets hope the same story goes for little Porsche.
