Mine never has. And when let loose usually just hides. (I am NOT that scary!).

Mine just do it when they are 'hanging out' or relaxing.
How does he sit when he's relaxing out of his cage?

With all legs under him. He never seems to "relax" outside the cage - he hides. That is the problem. When younger he hung around my shoes and darted about the apartment. I miss those days.

hhmmm, I wonder if he's affraid of the other animals, or if they make to much noise for him to be relaxed? Other then that i have no clue.
I guess the whole 'to each their own', maybe he is comfey the way he sits now, my dogs sit in some crazy positions, and she's relaxed and happy.

What other animals? He lives with Sam and Leslie the GPs and they groom each other. (Their being together is an unusual case that worked; I know about the GP/Rabbit issue). Is he afraid of gerbils in a tank? Doubtful. Occasionally I see his feet out to the side when under a cover in the bathtub where the cage is. Taken today inside the cage:

See my rodent room is always noisey with running wheels and such. There's always something to see/hear. So what i though was 'maybe' if he's out and about there just to much to take in then to just relax..... just a wild guess though

He is capable of getting out of the bathtub, and back in, on his own. Should I let him have the run of the house? Maybe if he he more 'out' time he would relax more in it.
Again, he used to be when younger more active and attached to me, and ran around a lot - that hi speed bunny darting. Why he stopped and changed I do not know. He is unneutered and the personality is still sweet.

Ya, if he won't chew things and get into trouble I'd totally give him the run of the house. I let ANi haev the run of the house, I just block off areas (like the boys cage) i don't want her to be unless I'm with her. The boys really only get 1 room to play in b/c of Baby's aweful litter habbits. We're off to play there in a minute

A rabbit expert told me a little while ago that the continuous movement of furniture and other stuff here, and new and different things, could have made the bunny nervous. Too much change. Makes sense.

When I had houserabbits as a kid, they used to come stretch out just like that with me no the floor - I could've sworn they were watching the TV, as they used to do it only when the TV was on and when I was lying there!
I think what it comes down to is just how comfortably the bunny is when he/she's around you. My bunnies then were handled every day and let loose around the house for hours at a time before being put to bed at night. As you mentioned about things being changed around, our house set-up never really changed the whole time we lived there, so they were comfortable in their surroundings, too.

he..he...he... don't tell Ryan I posted this. It's not the best picture, but it's still a favorite of mine... 'my little "Family" resting on the floor together (The blanket is tossed over the X-Pen in the boys cage, so there and no boys bitting Ani's little nose)

Whizz looks like the king of the house there! If Poppy ever saw a dog I don't know what he'd do, maybe a heart attack of the dog barked. :0

. . . Yea, I am sure that is it. So, I let Poppy out today to go where he wanted. I left him alone. I came back later - and he had hopped right back into the bathtub and was under a rubber lid that covers the part of the tub without the cage. Patience. . . Tell us about your lovely avatar photo of a bunny, please!
