A friend described this problem: Young rabbit having spasms and shaking; dying. He thought he fed the bun too much veggies! The cause? Bad genetics? Illness of some kind??

Sounds like poisoning.
I mean though it could have been a seizure, but my first thought is poisoning. Do you know any other details? Like was it eating, pooping? Acting strange/normal before hand?

Do you think...maybe asking a vet would be a good idea?

Is the bunny still alive? He's probably having seizures which could be caused by low blood sugar, circulating metabolic toxins or from somehow ingesting poisons. Vets can prescribe medications for this.

I'm wondering when a bunny is far along with GI Stasis and the gut has produced enough poisons on it's own if this would be the end result?

The rabbit is long dead, years ago. I should have said that up front. The fellow, my computer expert, was wondering what happened, as I told him it should NOT have happened. >> GI Stasis and the gut has produced enough poisons on it's own if this would be the end result? << Interesting. Maybe so. He says he only served the bun normal greens. I heard nothing unusual. He knew of nothing unusual. He just is till a little sad about it. Why he never asked a vet I don't know but I didn't want to get the guy working on my PC mad! You know.
