My friend and critter rescue confrere, Susan, is moving tomorrow and has her pets ready to go. You are not seeing two cockatiels which she has, and two caiques which are at the pet store (where she worked) being held for her, not to mention a number of other unusual critters such as a Prairie Dog. Her duprassi passed away a few months ago. She can be found as one of the folks behind scarnyc.org. which is in a thread in the Animal Rescue forum. Anyway, here are the critters. The iguana she is holding is named Sid. This is the biggest chameleon in the world, looked two feet long, and later, in the evening, when sleeping, the color was much greener and "cooler" (less agitated). I will get more names later, so check back in a day or two.

Lol-I bet you were so surprised when you heard that!
Susan kind of reminds me of that woman on the ASPCA show, Ann-Marie Lucas her name is.

They could pass for twin sisters I say. Don't you think there is a lot of resembelence there?
I always thought reptiles looked prehistoric. They're interesting to look out. In Science class (hs) we had this lizard that was named Barthalameu (sp).

You are right. whoa. Crikie!! Wonder if she knows this. Likely. Bart holo mew. Bartholomew. I'm told iguanas have teeth "like a shark" - why they are illegal in NYC.

>> I can see why you'd want to befriend her hehehe << I told her long ago she is like a "big sister" to me, and she is! I should add that for a primarily reptile person she is NOT conflicted on the issue of feeding large reptiles (snakes) live food; i.e., small rodents. She won't do it. She once bought some Hissing Cockroaches to feed to some of them, includuding iguanas - she couldn't do it and has ten of them. . . as pets! The chameleon, yet to be named, has a tongue TWICE the length of his body! Make up your own jokes about tongues. hehehehe
