Hey that's your bed. If you want whatever the dog dragged in, so be it.

I thought the rules were a joke, a put-on. COME ON, those rules were a JOKE. They are funny. I don't think I'd abide by any!! Well, yes, it was a joke email that made the rounds a while back. It's the owner who has all these strict rules about how the dog should live, but as we dog lovers know, of course you can't help but bend rule after rule! lol So, ultimately the dog owns the home. I pick the places I live according to what will be good for the PETS...for me, not so much ;D linda

>> I pick the places I live according to what will be good for the PETS...for me, not so much << I've learned to go to sleep listening to two gerbil wheels, two rat wheels, two mice wheels, and often the finches and parakeets chirping (the cockatiel stays quiet in the dark). And the bedroom is the quietest room in the place.

By the way, an update. . . I also have learned to listen to the finches and cockatiel! But in the latter case, I may need earplugs!

The thing with Heather the tiel is that she no longer wants to go in her cage at night, even with food in there. When she did I'd cover it with dark cloth. So she stayed quiet after dawn. Now she goes where she pleases. Right now she is perched sleeping on an old artificial Christmas tree 8' to my left. With dawn she also flies around. I need those earplugs today.
