From the NY Times Real Estate Section - Sunday June 10
To the Editor:
Neither as renter nor homeowner have I ever come across a dog who plays his music too loud; blocks my driveway; steals my parking space; lets his trash blow in the street; or leaves the building entrance ajar. In fact in social and public settings, the average dog, I have found, is much better behaved than the average human. Want greater civility? Start with the people. The dogs are the least of our problems.

Hear, hear! I sent this to my boyfriend, who deals with all manner of bizarre neighbor behavior at his place--and so who would agree wholeheartedly.
