So, a new forum is born! Prince's bin. In the back is a bamboo hide tube next to a ceramic log cabin; there are two types of wheels, and in the front a hide box of heavy cardboard (an electric razor box). The food dish was not present at the time, nor was Prince, nor the electric razor. Rainy's bin. Cardboard hide boxes, tubes, and wicker stuff in the back; a plastic another forum and a big wooden one (her usual home) in the middle; and towards the front a Twin Spin wheel and a SAM wheel, plus two Quick quench bottles, the one on the right (barely visible) was her deceased daughter Ringy's. Blanche's bin. That is Ringy's old ceramic log which she can hide in, plus there is the strawberry, assorted tubes and boxes; the bottom of a plasic another forum used as a potty, and a cardboard box used for nesting, plus the big Comfort Wheel. The black thing is a tall desk caddy they like to climb on and look around from up high. Sometimes they explore the inside, and all I can see is a tucchus sticking up. Onyx's bin. Note there are two wheels (a CT and a TS) attached to the walls of the bin; she prefers the TS. You can see a peanut flavored Nylabone near the log.

How does Prince like the bamboo tube? Does he ever chew on it?

Onyx was inside her log at the time; the others were off exploring my video cabinet and the newest play bin - Ringy's (RIP) old digs. I think Rainy was in her hide box at the time.
The bamboo tube is relatively new and has not been chewed, but hams don't gnaw very much, not nearly as much as gerbs. I did get several heavy cardboard tubes from the gym today (from the paper towels), bigger and thicker than normal paper towel tubes. The gerbs will demolish even those quickly. I wonder if their teeth grow faster than hams'.
I replaced last night the wheel on the right side of Prince's bin with a Twin Spin attached to the side of the bin (not touching the bottom of the bin). They all seem to love those kind of wheels: it likely feels safer being enclosed, and their is no hub that can somtiomes catch the fur of a long hair. The original base of that TS cracked a while back and could no longer be used that way, so on the side of the bin it went. My ninja sword poked a hole through it easily, and a sodering iron allowed me to melt the plastic of the hub tip so the wheel stayed on.
