Granted Chewie stays downstairs where Sophie was upstairs, but I never hear Chewie drinking his water. I always used to hear it with Sophie. He is drinking his water right? Please put my mind to ease, you do think he's drinking right?

Can you monitor it by measuring? How does he get water, a bottle or bowl? Some water bottles get stuck and need a bit of adjusting to get the water out.

Put a mark on the bottle with a Sharpie pen or some grease pencil.

Andrea--he drinks the by the bottle. I fill it always to the top and when I emptied it out the next day, it was still at the top. I mean he has to be drinking right if he goes to the bathroom (both ways), right guys? I should mark it though. Wouldn't the marker come off though since the water may rub it off? (not the condensation of it, but you know what I mean).

Maybe don't change it for a couple days? That should give you a better idea of what he is or isn't drinking.
My two boy rabbits drink like nothing, Bo though drinks more then both boys put together, so some animals do drink more then others. Do you give him many veggies or fruits? If so he may not need to drink much as he'd be getting the water from the veggies.

A Sharpie mark on a dry bottle will not come off, and neither will a grease pencil.
Dull sunken eyes are the first sgns of dehydration.
Depending upon veggies and other food given little water may be needed.

I never thought about the veggie part, good call. We give him the baby food every day, have too, so I guess that is like his drink too, huh?
I like to give him fresh water every day, but I will try your idea as with the marker pen.
Thanks you two.

Granted, I am not home much, but I actually see or hear Fuzz drinking no more than two times a month. . . . however, I can tell that the water level in the bottle is going down. If those dark beady eyes of his became sunken, I'd notice! Hope you can measure the change and set your mind to rest.

>> We give him the baby food every day, <<
Loaded with water. I know you give him that owing to his missing incisors.

^Oh yeah I see. So I guess that's why he doesn't drink very often, but I think he still does a bit. Sunken eyes, I will remember that, thanks. Yep, he's also missing a tooth down below. When he yawns I only see one tooth and it, too, looks odd. It's long and is round on top. Best I'd better call a vet to check that one out? It doesn't hurt him, which is good. Thanks for easing my mind, guys!

I already mentioned sunken eyes!! ;D If one incisor is missing I do not see how the other can get properly worn down. (?). It might continue to grow and would need clipping.

Also make sure that the water bottle is working properly. Can you feel water come out of it when you run your finger across the tip?
Fill the water bottle to the top, close it and squirt out 1/2 an inch of water to start the vacuum. The water comes out much easier this way if you're having a problem with the bottle.

Oh yeah, I always make sure the water is working in the bottle. I did not know that you have to squeeze a bit out, thanks.
