Hi everyone! I've started up a new board to an old one that fell by the wayside...URL is dead and moderator AWOL. The new one is called "Adopt-A-Rat Canada" and is a resource of available rats in rescues and shelters across Canada. Please pass around this URL to anyone you think might be interested rats as a pet. We are just starting out, so we have the Greater Vancouver area covered, and part of Ontario, in both cases for shelters that we know about. If you think you would interested in helping moderate another area, please contact me! It's just a "posting" board (ProBoards, just like Rodent Rescue), and the moderators add info and pics for the rats in their section. All we ask is that you update it every so often, and if you can no longer help, just to let me know. We're hoping that having the ratties all in one place, quick and easy to find that it will help their chances of being adopted. The Ontario section has had great success since getting up and running! Thanks for reading! Linda www.adoptaratcanada.com

Hi. Wherever is Megs? She used to be a regular poster here and is from BC, Canada? If you know any rat rescues in NYC let me know.
