I enjoy playing with my hamster, I hope to hold him a bit tonight after I clean his home (aka cage).

I'm a watcher! But I like to watch my hamster do things outside the cage, not inside!

I couldn't vote, because for me it's a tie. I love to play with the hams and the pups, but horseback riding is my favourite activity ever. I do hate taking the pups for a walk, and I'd rather play with Darko outside of his ball... Therefore I cannot vote. Picture taking is a 3rd for me... breeding would be at the bottom of the list. (rescues > breeding) Talking about them on the internet is what I do when they don't want to play, buying them isn't that big of a deal for me. It's not about the buying of the animal, it's about the animal itself...

Play or watch. Good point to make the distinction. Well, some critters here I can only watch: mice (fancy or spiny), the gerbils, and sometimes the hams. The birds mostly, also. But others can be more easily handled and played with such as the rats, rabbits, or GPs.

I usually don't buy animals that I can only watch... by the way, what does a poll's subject expiring and the poll locking mean? Does it apply to this poll?

>> I usually don't buy animals that I can only watch. << What about fish! They can only be watched. >> what does a poll's subject expiring and the poll locking mean? Does it apply to this poll? << It is an automatic feature applicable to all polls. I wish old threads could be automatically locked, those many months old. I did not set or create this feature; I think it is inherent in the ProBoards software.

hmm...I could do choose all but one of the options(Buying them...I don't Really consider that as fun) I love to walk the dog and play with her, And I enjoy the 'chores' (grooming/Feeding). I like taking pictures. My hamsters don't really 'play' but they love to get in trouble and I enjoy watching them. And the rats&Rabbit are just fun, They love attention and they also get into trouble! And if I didn't enjoy talking about them then why am I here!? The chores are something you choose to do when you get a pet, I even enjoy them sometimes. I like to 'redecorate' the cages, and I don't mind cleaning out the cages.

I don't care about the chores except in the heat and humidity of Summer.

it's over 27°C over here..Burning sun and a very dry/warm wind, I don't really 'enjoy' it at the moment It's to warm for an average dutch spring(normally 15-17°C) But it has to be done, don't see my rats cleaning out their cages themselves

We in the States have no idea about centigrade temperature. Is that hot??
It is relatively cold, 45 degrees F, with considerable winds. I had planned to go to a sporting event but no way do I plan to shiver again as I did a month ago (I posted about that).
BTW, how many people in the Netherlands speak English as well as you? I know it is taught.

It's about 80.6 Degrees F ...So it's not very warm, but it's warm for the time of year, Especially in the Netherlands where it always seems to rain I don't know how many people can speak/type English, but everybody learns English in elementary school from the age of 10(I was 9). Some younger people don't pay attention so they can't speak a word English(Only Yes or No )..Elderly people usually can't speak English, they do know German. I can speak German a little bit, but I don't really know their Grammar(That's the word for it, right?) so I make mistakes often. But I always know what they are saying, same goes for French. I have a lot of trouble with those languages, But English grammar isn't that difficult, although I still have some problems with this too.
