Fuzz is dying. He is breathing very hard and his body has little warmth. He's eaten nothing sice he got his teeth clipped this morning, and there's a half-expelled poop in sight. I have him in my shirt so that he's with me. I am crying, of course. I've been expecting this any time now, but it's still hard. . . I joined a hamster forum the night Pinky died, looking for solace. I know I will find my solace here, among my friends here on RR. I will bury Fuzz near Pinky in the backyard, and I will ultimately be glad that he is at peace. He has had it rough these last two months. Thanks for listening, all.

So very very sorry. *hugs* And you know we understand more than anyone else. By the way, today I found Agar dead. His photo is at the bottom of the main page. He was the last of the natal rats; his three siblings died long long ago. More on Agar separately. So sorry again. Fuzz was lucky to have you. And vice versa.

I'm so sorry. I remember when I had a ham die in my hands... Fuzz has been such a sweet little guy. </3

He's passing his final time in the purple pumpkin. Critter and Pinky died there; it seems somehow right to have him end his life there as well. Thanks, everybody. And hugs to glitchunter and you, DF, on the passing of your furries.

Fuzz passed a few minutes ago. Over the Rainbow Bridge he went, to be with Critter and Pinky.
The weather here will be good tomorrow and Friday, so we'll lay him to rest soon.
I want to get a stone or tile or something decorative to put near the gravesites. I have no luck planting there--the deer or the woodchuck eat whatever I plant.
Time for bed. I will actually sleep well now, because I won't be lying awake worrying about my little boy.
Good night, all.

Oh Robin, I am so so sorry. I know how much you loved Fuzz just by the way you talked about him. May your little guy rest in peace. *hugs tightly*

Thanks, Katie--the hug is much appreciated. How is Chewie, by the way? Does he have diabetes?

Wow Robin you just blew me away. Your poor Fuzz passed on, and you ask about Chewie. I couldn't do that. I tend to wallow...

Thank you for asking Robin, that was very sweet of you. Well after talking to my Mom and even though you don't know it, you sort of confirmed us to thinking it was just old age. And it is because he's back to doing what he was doing first, so I never ended up calling.

Thanks, Andrea. Thanks, everybody. I really felt alone after Pinky died. This time it's better.

Pinky died on 8 January 2006 at the age of 4. I joined RR in May or June.
Critter died in February 2002 at 3.5.
