LOL.... "Beautiful British Columbia" is what ours says. We have I think 3 different plates styles right now, the white and blue, the mountain background one with blue text and then the Blue Olympic plate. I'm searching for a picture of one, but no such luck, here is an old picture of my truck and a friends a while back, this is the regular style plate if u can see it. I don't have a license plate for my truck anymore, so i don't mind showing the #. I use day permits when I take it out now.

Day permits. Never heard of this! But whatever works for you.
Many states have very different plates, I suppose the prettier or more distinctive ones cost more - a way to pump up state revenue. I saw one from Florida today that was all FSU Seminoles. I will post it later. Nice.

Real quick cause I have to go to work: the other day I saw a cool looking Florida with a dolphin on it; Tennessee, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, (those two really don't count as I see them countless times) and Colorado.

BC plates The most common are the 1985-today, the personalized, the veteran, and the Olympic one. (those ones I see on a day to day basis) However, I do see vintage and collector ones fairly often, as my dad has a hot rod. (53 Chevy hardtop) He calls me "Rat Fink"... As for the day permit, that's what we got when we sold my brother's car. It's basically insurance for the day, instead of getting it for the month or year. Useful when you don't need the vehicle all the time.

Have not seen the dolphin Florida. Have seen some different lovely Michigan's; that state's usual was quite drab, as Delaware's remains.
Dezzi, two of yours did not come out. I like the Winter Olympics one best.

I see a lot of Olympic ones now, even my cousin has one. I'm to cheap to buy a 'fancy' plate. Day permits are for insurance or a day or so at a time 9I think up to a week). Since I only drive my truck a handful of times a year it is cheaper for me to place day permits on it then insure it for the road when all it does is sit in my backyard the rest of the time.

Oh yea. You have an Olympics coming up. Vancouver in 2010! Does it get cold enough! Socchi (?) Russia is up for 2014. You drive your truck so little it seems hardly worth the time and effort. In NYC registration costs and insurance (for a year) and upkeep and parking and oh forget it! But you can leave yours parked someplace out of the way. Here, almost everyday we have to move cars to the other side of the street for street cleaning. And the gas bills!

>>Dezzi, two of yours did not come out. I like the Winter Olympics one best.<< They aren't separate pictures, I got them from a site and the site address is their way of copyrighting it.
>>Does it get cold enough!<< Yes, the 2010 are up at Whistler (I think) and it's plenty cold!

Those are cool looking dezzi. I saw an Illinois yesterday. The one I like the most is Alaska, I've seen that about six times now.

Check what it says above and below the plate. www.nysharksfootball.com>> In 2007 season, the Sharks played their home games at the Aviator Sports Complex at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, New York. They played an 8 game regular season schedule. <<
