June 25 2008 Shelby Cobra passed away. She has been suffering from a head tilt for some time, antibiotics didn't help it and it actually didn't bother or stop her from living a happy life until her last week. Shelby was 3 years old, and had mostly lived as a single gerbil, seems she didn't care for a constant companion. Baby Shelby - Adult Shelby Old Lady Shelby Rest I Peace Shelby, I hope the others over the bridge can keep up to you!

Aw, poor Shelby. You can definitely tell the transformation of her; may she rest in peace. *hugs*

I have a soft spot in my heart for aging critters--so to me she's lovely at all three stages. Rest in peace, little Shelby (love the name, too).

Thanks everyone. She was a special little lady, but lived a good long life. I got Shelby from a breeder friend for a pup I bought from her I named Masarati who was the most stunning spotted Burmese, she passed away early on my birthday a couple years ago, that loss was heartbreaking. Glad you posted the memorial site. Very nice. I need to update mine. But I am so busy. In a matter of minutes I leave to set up some cat traps at about 1 AM. I will check back several times before sunrise. Those cats will be spayed/neutered and released, being feral.
