My little adopted Ayla hamster passed away today. She had been aging a lot this past year, but kept on truckin. Ayla was my Hamster Ambassador, she would come with me to events and let kids hold and squish her while I taught them and their parents about dwarf hammies. I retired Ayla last year from her duties and now Happy is taking her position. Everyone who met Ayla loved her, she was a very special little lady. To my first female dwarf, and my first adopted dwarf hammy Thank you Ayla for the memories and great experiance.

Oh, Andrea, you need a hug. *hugs* This is your second loss in a short while--and it's another one of your favorites. How cool that she was your Hamster Ambassador. . . . obviously she was very good-natured if she could be handled so readily by strangers.
Now that I have an agouti dwarf I am captivated by their photos--and these are excellent!
So rest peacefully, Ayla.
