So, there was an inadvertant male reslting in an unexpected birth. No big deal; they are tiny. BUT. . . some of the youngsters are hairless with giant "Dumbo" ears! I never have had a mouse that looked like that before. Genetics. More likely a mutation? Very curious. And kind of cute.

I should add as an update absolutely nothing new has occurred with my fancy mice or spiny mice. Maybe that is good. All breeding has stopped some time ago, and I am 99.9% certain all genders are correctly separated. I have added no new fancies or spiny's. I have seen none needing adoption and I have looked around for that. So it is the same routine. The fancies love little Combo snacks, those cracker filled with cheese things. They fight over them like it is a rugby match! The fancies are more omniverous, though. The gorgeous fancies passed away some time ago - see the Memorial Gallery in my signature. The ones I have now mostly spotted white and different colors (black, gray, brown), and some are sort of grayish. The gorgeous ones, well check the gallery for their photos. Lovely, and so very tame!

Right. ASAP. I should update several critters especially Cal, my last Syrian.
